Heartbreak to Hope Walk 2025

Support my challenge for kids facing cancer.

Every month in Australia, 90 children are diagnosed with cancer.

For those families, their lives are changed forever. Cancer puts families under enormous pressure. It can feel like it’s impossible to hold it together.

This May, I am taking part in the Heartbreak to Hope Walk to raise funds for Redkite to provide emotional, financial and practical support and care to families facing childhood cancer.

Please sponsor me by making a donation to support my walk.

Together, we can show these children and their families that they don't have to face cancer alone and support them as they face the toughest time of their lives.

Thank you.

100km Walk for Kellin 💙

Thursday 10th Apr
In April 2024, Dayle and her husband Joss were delivered the worst news any parent could hear ‘I’m sorry your child has cancer’. At age 4 their son Kellin was diagnosed with a rare NUT1 M1 fusion carcinoma cancer that was in his kidneys and lungs.

With an average life expectancy of 10 months after diagnosis, they knew the odds were against them and both Joss and Dayle quit their jobs and were told to move up from their home in Mandurah to an apartment near the hospital where they have remained with their other son Kobie since.

Kellin has now been fighting this horrible disease for 9 months and has had surgery, mega therapy, chemotherapy and radiation. Current scans show no cancer in his body, however because of the severity of this cancer, he will need to begin Immunotherapy soon as soon as his platelets recover from all of the treatment he has been through.

Unfortunately with Kellin being so sick, Joss and Dayle have been by their son’s side and have not been able to work. Their savings they have been living off are almost obsolete.

If you are able to donate a few dollars to help this family have more time off work to spend with their very sick son, it would be most appreciated. Every dollar helps.

I am walking 100km for my loved one, Kellin Spicer ?.
