Support my challenge for kids facing cancer.
This May, I’m taking on a personal challenge: swimming 50 kilometres to raise funds for children battling cancer. While most participants choose to walk or run as part of the Redkite Heartbreak to Hope Walk, I’ve chosen to swim due to a chronic back injury that has profoundly impacted my life over the past six months and prevents me from walking any real distance. This injury has given me a tiny glimpse into the daily struggles faced by children and their families fighting cancer, and has been a humbling reminder of the strength it takes just to get through each day when your body holds you back.
With every stroke in the water, I’ll be swimming in solidarity with kids who face more fear, pain, and uncertainty than I could ever imagine. This challenge is not only about raising vital funds for their care and support, but also about honouring their incredible resilience. I hope you'll support me on this journey and help make a difference in the lives of these brave young people.
Thank you.
