Support my walk for kids facing cancer.
In the halls of GCUH (Gold Coast University Hospital), where hope and despair intermingle, since being on my nursing placment I’ve witnessed a heart-wrenching reality: the faces of children diagnosed with the weight of cancer, and the families who stand by them with fear and uncertainty. Each day, 88 Australian children are swept into this storm of diagnosis, altering the path of their lives and leaving families in uncertainty and loss of faith.
Cancer, not only scars the soul but leaves families struggling - not only with the physical toll but also the emotional and financial strain. It's a battle fought, where price gets too steep to measure.
This June, I am embarking on a journey from ‘heartbreak to hope’, where I am walking over 100km, participating in the Heartbreak to Hope Walk to raise funds for Redkite. With your support, we can extend a lifeline to these families, offering them the emotional, financial, and practical support they desperately need.
